ISC Stands in Solidarity with Ukraine in Harrisburg
Three years ago, the lives of millions of Ukrainians were forever changed. The war that came to our homes split our reality into “before” and “after.” As someone born and raised in Ukraine, I cannot remain indifferent—even while living in the United States.
On February 24 and March 4, I joined two rallies held on the steps of the Harrisburg Capitol Building in support of Ukraine. Around 80 Ukrainians and Americans came together to mark the third anniversary of the war and to stand united in our call for justice, freedom, and peace.
These rallies were more than just gatherings—they were powerful reminders that we have not forgotten that the fight continues, and that Ukraine is not alone. Each rally was a collective voice, a visible show of support for our soldiers, and a call to both society and policymakers to continue their assistance.
By standing together, we reaffirm our shared values of truth, unity, and resilience. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to connect with members of the Ukrainian community in the Harrisburg area—to share our stories, uplift one another, and renew our commitment to advocating for Ukraine.
